Sweet Magnolias star JoAnna Garcia Swisher has partnered with HSN to give us the cutest Maddie Townsend-approved home décor line.
HSN launched Clover by Jo on May 9, and it includes a variety of home décor products, from baskets to bed linens to planters and more. The entire line is totally spring-ready, with inspiration coming from timeless yet versatile style with plenty of feminine touches. “I have always been drawn to beautiful color and rich texture,” Garcia Swisher told us. “This line has all of that plus a wonderful mix of natural touches.”
And, if we do say ourselves, the pieces are 100% Maddie Townsend-approved. “Well, in real life my goal is to shower Brooke (Elliot) and Heather (Headley) with all that Clover by Jo has to offer,” Garcia Swisher shared with Country Living. “But if we are talking on screen, I think Maddie would find a place for all of the items in our line.” We could totally see the Sweet Magnolias character storing her fringed throw beside the couch in a seagrass basket and adding fresh hydrangeas from her garden in this knobbed planter. And these mercury glass eggs would be perfect on the spa’s front counter. Though the pieces are new, they carry a patina that feels cozy and lived-in, everything that Maddie’s Southern farmhouse exudes. “I hope our pieces will feel like they have been, and will be, a part of your home for a long time to come,” she says.
The decision for Garcia Swisher to partner with HSN was an easy one. “I feel so lucky to partner with HSN,” she told us. “I’ve been a long time customer and have so much faith in the quality of their products, so I knew whatever we created would be beautiful. And I have felt so supported as they have helped guide my vision to a line I’m truly proud of and hope will bring so much happiness and beauty to the homes our products will live in.”
You can shop the entire line on HSN’s website, but don’t hesitate on clicking “buy now,” because these pieces are sure to fly off shelves faster than Dana Sue can whip up her signature margaritas.

Sweet Magnolias will be back for a third go-round. Netflix has renewed the romance drama series for a third season, with stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley set to reprise their roles.
Based on Sherryl Woods’ popular series of novels, Sweet Magnolias follows lifelong best friends Maddie (Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Elliott) and Helen (Headley) as they juggle relationships, family and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC.
Season 2 ended with several cliffhangers. Ronnie and Dana Sue reunited, but mystery-woman Kathy might mean trouble for Dana Sue in the upcoming season. The season also ended with the death of Miss Frances (Cindy Karr) and Maddie, with Helen and Dana Sue in mourning over her passing.
Woods executive produces with Sheryl J. Anderson (Ties That Bind), who returns as showrunner and executive producer. Dan Paulson, whose Daniel L. Paulson Productions is producing, also serves as executive producer.

With season 2 of Sweet Magnolias premiering on Feb. 4, both fans and stars of the show can’t wait for the new episodes.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who plays Maddie, talks about why she loves the show, her real-life connection with her costars and her life off the screen as a wife and a mom of two.
Fans of Sweet Magnolias know the connection between Maddie, Dana Sue (Brooke Elliot) and Helen (Heather Headley) is one for the books. Over countless margarita nights, the trio manages to always have each other’s backs in the trials and tribulations of life.
And, when it comes to their connection off-camera, Garcia Swisher, 42, says it’s pretty much the same. “We are like a little pack. It’s fun to get together and just to see each other outside of work. That’s why I love shooting our margarita nights because we’re all together,” she says.
While those margarita nights are fun to shoot for the three stars, not everyone might agree. Garcia Swisher admits those scenes are “probably the most frustrating scenes for our director to get through” as the director will ask “ladies, let’s focus” many times to make the take worthwhile. “Those are probably their least favorite, but at the end of it, we’re having the most fun,” she shares.
Getting along with costars is not the only reason Garcia Swisher loves doing the show so much. “It makes me so happy that this show resonates with people,” she says. “It’s just fun to be to do a show that people are invested in and that people really love. That sounds so obvious, but it feels good.”
Fans did, in fact, really love the show. When season 1 premiered in May of 2020, Sweet Magnolias earned the No. 1 position in Netflix’s top 10 shows in the United States after just five days on the streaming platform. “Woke up this morning to this news! I’m blown away!” Garcia Swisher posted on Instagram at the time.
Outside of the success of the show, Garcia Swisher is a mom to Emerson, 8, and Sailor, 5, with former baseball player husband Nick Swisher. And much like her character Maddie, Garcia Swisher’s family is her No. 1 priority.
The mom of two attributes a lot of her parenting skills to just being honest with her kids about everything. The actress says her kids learn a lot by “watching me navigate life, and my husband navigating life, honestly, through the ups and the downs.”
Communication is undoubtedly their biggest skill. “If they’re kind of struggling with someone in school, or something that they fear, we work out the worst-case scenario in their minds and create a dialogue that allows for it to not be so scary and kind of get it out in the open,” she says.
“My hope as a mother is that they see that I am eternally in their corner and that they will always be my greatest gift and priority,” the actress continues. “Being a mom and watching the girls grow and doing it next to somebody that I respect and admire so much is really a gift.”
Season 2 of Sweet Magnolias premieres Friday, February 4th on Netflix.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher will be part of the cast in the upcoming holiday film Christmas with the Campbells. The movie will be released simultaneously in theaters and on AMC+ in the U.S. in late fall 2022.
Christmas with the Campbells is billed as a traditional holiday romance story executed with unfiltered adult humor. Specifics as far as its plot are being kept under wraps.
